FELLOWSHIP IN OPTOMETRY COURSE DETAILS

Programme Duration :	2 years for diploma holders / 1 year for graduates
Eligibility Criteria :	The minimum qualification should be Diploma / Degree in Optometry / Orthoptics .

Selection :	Selection is through written test and personal interviews
Remuneration :	A monthly stipend will be provided with yearly increments. There is a Best Performer Award at the end of the programme
Facilities :	Candidates are welcome to avail:
		Regular classes in the morning on various topics under faculty optometrists. Language of instruction is English.
		Posting in various clinics under senior and faculty optometrists for hands on exposure.
Expectations :	Students coming for the Internship are expected to be serious and focused about learning, and should be willing to work hard. A strict course curriculum will be followed, and punctuality, thoroughness, conscientiousness and a professional approach will be expected.
Accommodation and food :	Candidate has to arrange. Hospital will provide assistance.

Diploma in optometry

<Course duration- 2 years

< Conducted by- state medical faculty, Uttar Pradesh , India .

<Gorakhpur Admission through written and oral test at.

<Eligibility criteria - 10 +2 passed, with biology.

Course duration- 18 months.

Candidates should have MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology

A stipend of Rs.16, 000/- per month will be paid, for 17months and rs 50,000/- will be paid in last month of the course.
